Demonstrate your knowledge of Challenge Based Learning by completing a micro-credential. The Challenge Institute and Digital Promise have partnered to offer three levels of micro-credentials.
Nano Challenge – The educator uses a modified version of the Challenge Based Learning framework to develop and document a Nano Challenge.
Mini Challenge – The educator plans and participates in a Mini Challenge that widens the boundaries from the Nano Challenge and provides participants with an increased level of choice and responsibility. The Learners start with a Big Idea and work through the Challenge Based Learning Framework to increase the research depth and reach of their Solutions.
Macro Challenge – The educator engages in a Macro Challenge, where Learners identify and investigate Big Ideas, develop Challenges, do extensive investigation across multiple academic disciplines, and take full ownership of the process. The Challenge Based Learning Framework is used from start to finish, including the implementation and evaluation of the Solution in an authentic setting.
